LEAVE THE STATE OF DOING TO ARRIVE AT THE STATE OF BEING

When doing is directed from our left brain, our thinking brain (and most doing is), it is ruled by ego. Ego's only job is to stay in control, by whatever means possible. Let me say that another way, because it's important to remember this: Ego doesn't give a rat's ass about you, it's only job is to stay in control. So if that means plummeting you into the state of fear, confusion or paralysis of action, it will.

Ego can always be identified - it's the mean self-talk. it's the shoulda, coulda, woulda talk. It's the talk that tells you all the reasons why you shouldn't or couldn't do something. It's the impossible expectations and judgments that become behaviors - that become doing.

Ego is not your friend, but it sure knows how to push your buttons. STOP DOING, and just be. Meditate, day-dream, color in your coloring book, take a bubble bath....Anything that gets you out of your left brain and into your right brain.

Go there now. Create, relax and just BE.
